🥙 Atlantic Highlands Music & Food Truck Fest

This weekend looks perfect to head to the beautiful Atlantic Highlands Marina for the Music and Food Truck Fest. The 2025 festival will feature an impressive lineup of 19 food trucks (including vegan and vegetarian options), 15 artisan vendors, and a variety of live bands. There will also be a beer garden showcasing local brewers. Bring your own chairs and blankets so you can relax on the lawn and enjoy the day's entertainment while taking in stunning views of the New York City skyline.

🌉 Rumson-Sea Bright Bridge

Since the first wooden drawbridge was constructed over the Shrewsbury River in 1870, there have been several others connecting Rumson and Sea Bright over the years. The most recently decommissioned drawbridge was built in 1950. After 75 years of use that bridge was no longer viable. So as of July 31st and after four years of construction, the brand new $138 million dollar Rumson-Sea Bright bridge is open and operational. Demolition of its predecessor should begin within weeks, with some of its concrete components being transported off Sandy Hook to create a new fishing reef.
