It’s here! Now in it’s 38th year, the Belmar Sand Castle Contest is this Wednesday (7/16) at the 18th Ave. beach across Ocean Ave. from D’Jais. The contest has been a staple summer attraction for what seems like forever now. Everyone young and old can register and try their hand at sand sculpting, but the real draw (if you ask us) is the pro’s. Seeing the incredible sculptures crafted by some truly talented artists in attendance is what makes the event.

It all takes place at the 18th Ave. beach. Registration begins at 8am with judging at noon.

Personally, we’ve had a couple pretty terrible experiences with some of the bigger name plumbing companies. When we found A-General, it was like a gift. They’re local (Farmingdale) and family-owned, so you’re dealing with really nice, fair people. But they’re also big enough for 24/7 emergency response so you can count on them for literally anything. Every experience with A-General has been A+!!

🍣 XINA (Bradley Beach) - You’d think they were trying to keep it a secret with the complete lack of fanfare. So mysterious. But Xina of Toms River finally opened their new Bradley Beach location. We’ve gotten only word of mouth reviews at this point but they’re excellent, as fans of the original location would expect.
