Good morning, Monmouth County! And Happy Father’s Day weekend to all you Dads out there!

There’s so much going on in Monmouth County this weekend we’re laughing in the face of Gmail’s kilobyte limits. Don’t care. We’re crazy! 🤪

As school lets out, Monmouth Buzz will be here to help take the pressure off of figuring out what to do with the kiddos everyday. One option we love is surf camp. The kids have a blast and you get to relax in a beach chair. Our Monmouth County beaches have several options throughout the summer and some of them are kicking off as early as next week. Don’t delay because they do fill up fast. Check out Summertime Surf (Asbury Park, Bradley Beach, Belmar, Point Pleasant), Summa Love (Long Branch), Hammer Surf School (Spring Lake), Lucky Dog (Sea Bright), Bulkhead Board Club (Manasquan), Pink Pineapple Surf (Manasquan).

Another great option that will start before you know it is any of the numerous junior lifeguard programs. Asbury Park (registration ends 6/15), Sea Bright, Belmar, Spring Lake, Long Branch, Sea Girt, Avon, Bradley Beach, Ocean Grove all offer programs to get your kids learning, challenging themselves, and gaining confidence in the ocean. The skills will benefit them for a lifetime. Check ‘em out!!
