History of Asbury Park
New Asbury Park Museum Exhibit | Blueberry Picking Season

Together With
If your clutter turns out to be a little more than can be organized, or maybe there’s really no way to declutter an old broken hot tub, you might need a little more horsepower. That’s where Shore Thing Cleanout comes in. Owned and operated by Monmouth County residents (Wall), Shore Thing is the only name you need to know when it comes to junk removal. From their best around pricing to their bespoke service and attention, they’ll remind you why staying local is so much better.
Good morning and Happy Father’s Day, Monmouth County! Another loaded issue of Monmouth Buzz for you today! The Monday to Thursday work week isn’t generally known to bubble over with extracurriculars. But you’d never know that living in Monmouth County. The first half of the week has a Grammy Award winning reggae band that played at Bill Clinton’s inauguration (Steel Pulse), live tropical birds, a cocktail making class-and the list goes on.
We’re especially excited for a bit of a history lesson this week. On Wednesday, Asbury Park Museum opens their new exhibition “More Than A Beach Town: The Commercial Rise of Asbury Park” at the Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel. This, the first of their two-part multi-media exhibition, will highlight historic commercial buildings and businesses in Asbury Park from 1871 to the 1940’s.
The Coaster will also begin tours of the Asbury Park Waterfront on the same day. Reporter Bill Clark will guide guests from the Casino to Convention Hall, highlighting the iconic landmarks and personalities that made Asbury Park famous over the decades. Tours will run Wednesday’s and Saturday’s through August 23. Info
Let’s go!

🍦 NEW SPOTS!!
Nicholas Creamery (Wall) - Our own Jon the Pizza Guy stopped by Nicholas Creamery in Wall on Friday. He sampled their seasonal Key Lime Pie ice cream and blessed it with a score of 8.2! We stopped by ourselves yesterday and were not disappointed. We (I) sampled (finished the kid’s) Brown Sugar Cookie Dough and Cookies N Cream. Gotta say it lived up to the hype. And with six locations throughout Monmouth County, no matter where you are, Nicholas Creamery is dangerously close.

How’s the spring cleaning coming? We’ll be the first to admit, decluttering and organizing aren’t exactly our strengths. But being decluttered and organized can be nothing short of a religious experience. We had Tidying by Tash organize our kitchen and it was honestly life-changing. Reach out to Tash and have her bring peace to your space!

We seriously love Syby Designs custom concrete fire bowls! They’re the cherry on top of your backyard setup. Syby Designs offers a variety of sizes and styles from their big natural gas or propane outdoor Fiah 39 fire bowl (pictured) to their tabletop bowls great for a dedicated s’mores factory. They also have super cute candle vessels that are the perfect centerpiece for your dining table or to add some warmth to any corner of your space. And maybe best of all, they’re made by locals right here in Monmouth County (Manasquan). Click here to see their full catalog!
