Why This Collagen Works Faster Than the Rest 🧜♀️✨
For decades, beauty has focused on quick fixes: what you put on your skin. But the most radiant glow, strongest hair, and healthiest aging begin from within.
Introducing Pique's Carrara Marine Collagen, a true breakthrough in beauty. This first-of-its-kind formula combines Type I marine collagen for visible radiance with rare Type II collagen from wild Hokkaido salmon to support deeper structural resilience. Enhanced with biotin and micronized pearl powder, Carrara helps promote smoother, more luminous skin, stronger hair and nails, and whole-body vitality.
Designed for superior absorption, you'll see results faster than with traditional collagen. Its rich coconut cream base transforms your daily routine into something indulgent. More ritual than supplement, it elevates even your morning coffee or matcha.
This is collagen, completely reimagined. Not just glow but structure. Not just results but longevity. A new foundation for beauty, built from within. 🧜♀️✨

Good morning Monmouth County! And Happy Pride Month to all who celebrate! The Pride festivities are just the tip of the iceberg this weekend.

🌈 Jersey Pride Festival in Asbury
Asbury Park's iconic boardwalk is gearing up to serve as the vibrant backdrop for the 34th Annual Jersey Pride Festival on Sunday, June 7, the oldest and largest statewide LGBTQ+ celebration in the Garden State. Expecting to draw over 20,000 visitors, the high-energy weekend festivities will culminate in a spectacular midday parade winding through the heart of the city before opening up into a massive, six-hour outdoor concert and rally grounds at Sunset and Ocean avenues. From legendary rooftop pool parties and tea dances at local hotspots to a bustling festival village packed with food trucks, artisans, and family-friendly zones, the oceanfront will come alive with an electric atmosphere of love, inclusivity, and unstoppable community spirit.
☘ New Jersey Irish Festival at Monmouth Park
The luck of the Irish is returning to Oceanport this weekend as Monmouth Park Racetrack hosts the 54th Annual New Jersey Irish Festival on Sunday, June 7. A beloved early-summer tradition for families and racing fans across the Shore, the gates open at 11:00 am to kick off a vibrant celebration of Celtic culture that includes live traditional music, high-energy pipe and drum bands, and step dancing. Beyond the regular slate of live thoroughbred racing starting at 12:50 pm, the event features a classic morning Irish Mass, a sprawling marketplace of craft vendors, and the crowd-favorite "Human Horse Race" down the main stretch to raise money for a great cause. With free parking, affordable general admission, and a massive, free Family Fun Day running all afternoon in the picnic area, it stands as the perfect, high-energy festival to immerse the local community in rich cultural heritage while enjoying a classic day at the track.

Skincare built by longevity scientists
Most skincare treats the symptoms of aging. OS-01 FACE was built by longevity scientists to address the cause. With age, some skin cells stop functioning – accelerating the visible skin decline that most skincare was never designed to address. OneSkin is different. It's skincare with better science and real results.

🌳 Monmouth County Parks Summer Calendar
The Monmouth County Park System has officially activated its summer calendar this week, offering families an array of budget-friendly outdoor activities to kick off June. Highlighting the early-season lineup, the outdoor pool at the Fort Monmouth Recreation Center in Tinton Falls is launching its weekend "Open Swim" sessions this Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, providing an affordable way for residents to cool off. Meanwhile, nature enthusiasts can head to Howell for 45-minute narrated pontoon boat tours of the Manasquan Reservoir, where naturalists help children spot local wildlife like bald eagles and turtles. Rounding out the park system's diverse offerings, Historic Walnford in Upper Freehold is hosting a completely free event on Saturday afternoon featuring artist Lauren Muney, who will craft classic, freehand silhouette portraits for families using just paper and scissors.

🔦 Business Spotlight

We absolutely love it when new businesses open in Monmouth County! And not just the fun new restaurants. There’s something truly inspiring about people turning their passions into a livelihood. Whether it’s local honey or a neighborhood physician, it’s these people sharing their passion with us who make Monmouth County such an incredible place to live. We hope to share even more local businesses with you in issues to come.
Today’s business spotlight is a brand new addition to our local healthcare community and they’re bringing much needed therapy services closer to home. Meet Coastal Communications.

Coastal Communication LLC is bringing expert, compassionate speech-language pathology directly to our doorsteps. Founded four months ago by best friends Sarah Zimmer, M.S., CCC-SLP (above-left), and Kaitlyn (Katie) Weber, M.S., CCC-SLP (above-right), this private practice serves families across Monmouth and Middlesex Counties. The co-owners first met at Seton Hall University during an admitted students day tour, instantly becoming inseparable best friends who dreamed of one day opening a practice together. Now living in Long Branch, Sarah (who grew up in Edison) and Katie (originally from Cranford) are turning that vision into a reality. Inspired by Sarah’s personal journey watching a speech therapist transform her special-needs brother's quality of life, the duo treats every client like family. They specialize in a comprehensive range of in-home therapies throughout the lifespan, addressing everything from pediatric expressive delays, ASD, and feeding therapy, to adult cognitive and communication restoration following a stroke or traumatic brain injury.

What truly sets Coastal Communication apart is their deeply collaborative, patient-centered philosophy, which they bring to life right in the comfort of a client's natural home environment. When they aren't dedicating their time to the special needs community at local events like the Long Branch Disability Fair, these two are immersed in the local shore lifestyle. You can usually find them soaking up the sun at Brighton Avenue beach, heading to the Asbury Park dog beach with their pups, catching a Stone Pony concert, or grabbing a coffee at Rook. They love exploring local spots like the Asbury Bazaar, and while Sarah loves dining at TAKA, Katie’s favorite is Judy and Harry’s. They are also avid travelers—Sarah recently returned from Tuscany, Italy (and loves Cape Cod), while beach-loving Katie just visited her favorite spot, Charleston, South Carolina. To welcome their neighbors, Coastal Communication is offering a free 15-minute consultation phone call to answer questions. Plus, if you mention you saw them in Monmouth Buzz, you’ll get 10% off all evaluations and therapy services! Check them out here!

The savory aroma of roasting gyro meat and fresh honey-soaked baklava will fill the air in Holmdel this weekend as the annual Bayshore Greek Fest returns to the grounds of Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church from Thursday, June 4 through Sunday, June 7. A massive early-summer staple for families across Monmouth County, the four-day cultural celebration transforms the church property at 20 Hillcrest Road into a bustling, high-energy midway complete with carnival rides, games for the kids, and an extensive marketplace featuring indoor and outdoor local vendors. Attendees can immerse themselves in traditional heritage with live music and vibrant youth dance performances, all while enjoying authentic, homemade Greek platters and pastries under the festival's massive dining tents or inside the air-conditioned gymnasium. 🏀 SPORTS
🏀 Summer Slam Basketball is Back!
Summer Slam in Manasquan has become one of our most anticipated summer traditions in Monmouth County. This highly competitive summer basketball league transforms local parks into high-stakes arenas every July. Far from a casual rec league, the tournament brings together a potent mix of elite local high school standouts, active NCAA collegiate athletes back home for the summer, and Shore Area gym legends. Sponsored by neighborhood businesses, the teams clash in a physical, fast-paced style of play that packs the fences with local fans looking to catch those behind-the-back passes and high-flying dunks.
What has truly cemented Summer Slam as a quintessential community event is its historic tie to the Manasquan Fireman's Fair. As the fairgrounds come alive in late July, the basketball tournament reaches its fever pitch, timing its semifinal and championship rounds to coincide with the town’s massive annual festival. Spectators naturally drift between the carnival games and the basketball courts, creating an electric, cross-generational atmosphere where sports and small-town tradition seamlessly collide. Summer Slam is a mandatory summer night hangout.
For a look at the fast-paced action on the blacktop, you can watch these Manasquan Summer Slam Highlights, which capture a classic matchup between local squads under the lights at Mallard Park.
