🥫 Monmouth County Food Drive

The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners has initiated a Countywide Food Drive with county employees and is inviting the public to participate to support local food banks and residents facing challenges from the recent temporary suspension of full SNAP benefits. Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone stated that the Board is proud to launch this drive to make a difference for those relying on local food banks, and Commissioner Susan M. Kiley emphasized that every donation helps ensure no one goes hungry during this time, especially with the holiday season approaching. Members of the public can contribute non-perishable donations at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters Branch (125 Symmes Drive, Manalapan) or the Eastern Branch (1001 Route 35, Shrewsbury). 🧥 Coat and Food Drive

Advisors Mortgage and Off the Hook Home Inspections in collaboration with Lunch Break of Red Bank will be collecting gently used coats as well as non-perishable food items on Sunday 11/9 between 11am and 2pm at 227 Newman Springs Rd. Tinton Falls. Check them out on IG.

🍬 Donate or Sell Back Your Halloween Candy

If your kids have had quite enough sugar for one year and/or your spouse would benefit from the sudden disappearance of your candy cache, you have options that won’t result in metabolic syndrome. Atlantic Pediatric Dentistry in Little Silver and Sycamore Smiles Pediatric Dentistry in Tinton Falls for example are doing candy buy-backs.

You’ll get one raffle ticket for every pound of candy you donate. Every three raffle tickets guarantees a win.

Drop off your unwanted and unopened candy for the Treats for Troops program. Kids who donate their candy will get one raffle ticket per pound (up to 5 pounds) and be entered to win a first-place prize of a $75 gift card, a second-place prize of a $50 gift card, and a third-place prize of a $25 gift card. Winners will be announced on November 18.

You can also donate to Treats for Troops, with drop-off locations in Manalapan, Colts Neck, and Wall Twp.
