🍻 Alternate Ending’s Cologne Kolsch Beer Release

This Wednesday (10/1) Alternate Ending Beer Company in Aberdeen is releasing their new Kolsch beer named “Business is a Boomin.” Now, a beer release is fun in and of itself but Alternate Ending is doing this release in a pretty unique and exciting way. During the month of October they’ll be serving their Business is a Boomin’ like a traditional Cologne Brauhaus.

An authentic Cologne Kölsch beer service is a traditional, communal drinking experience centered on efficiency and freshness. Servers, known as Köbes carry small glasses called Stangen on a circular tray called a Kranz automatically replacing empty glasses without being asked. The number of beers is tracked with tick marks on a coaster (Deckel) and to stop the non-stop service a drinker simply places the Deckel on top of their empty Stange. 🥁 G Flip at Asbury Lanes

If you’re not an Asbury Lanes regular, Tuesday night is the kind of night that really defines the place in 2025 for us. For a pretty reasonable $40 ticket you can see an amazing artist up close and personal in the company of maybe a few hundred other fans. Some of these artists you would otherwise expect to be playing to a crowd of thousands.

Tuesday, that artist is G Flip, whose real name is Georgia Flipo. They are an Australian singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist who has rapidly gained popularity for their energetic drumming and genre-blending musical style. Their style is a sort of indie/alt-pop that incorporates elements of rock, characterized by powerful drumming and catchy, emotional lyrics. G Flip's sound is really distinct and fun. Seeing them at Asbury Lanes is guaranteed to be an experience you won’t forget.
