The Matcha That Ruined All Other Matcha

Many of us crave energy that feels clean and steady. Not the jittery spike-and-crash kind.

That’s why I keep coming back to Sun Goddess Matcha by Pique. It’s easily the best matcha I’ve tasted.

In a market full of dull, bitter powders, this ceremonial-grade matcha stands apart for both flavor and purity. Crafted by Japanese tea masters and shaded 35% longer, it’s naturally rich in antioxidants and L-theanine to support calm focus and balanced energy.

The result is vibrant, smooth matcha that carries you through brighter mornings and fuller days. No spikes. No crashes. Just sustained energy that works with your body.

If you’re ready for a better morning ritual, try Sun Goddess Matcha here. 🌿🍵

Good morning Monmouth County! This issue takes us into August and a weekend of pretty beautiful temperatures. The conditions are perfect to find a friend with a boat!

Let’s Gooo!!

👮‍♂ Long Branch Police Hero

A Long Branch police officer is being hailed for his quick thinking and bravery after risking his life to protect a woman during a domestic violence incident. Officers, including Patrolman Geter Benitez, responded to an early-morning domestic disturbance call at a residence on Cleveland Avenue. While officers were inside gathering information, a suspect suddenly launched a violent knife attack against his ex-girlfriend. Without hesitation, Officer Benitez charged at the attacker and tackled him off the victim, shielding her from potentially fatal harm and putting an immediate end to the assault.

During the ensuing struggle to disarm and subdue the suspect, Officer Benitez sustained a severe laceration to his head, resulting in significant blood loss. Assisting officers and a nearby bystander helped secure the suspect while Benitez was rushed to Monmouth Medical Center for emergency care. After receiving overnight treatment, he was released to recover at home. Law enforcement officials and residents across Monmouth County have expressed deep gratitude for Officer Benitez’s decisive actions, which unequivocally saved the victim's life.

🏇 Female Horse Trainer Makes History

Trainer Lindsay Schultz etched her name in local sports lore at Monmouth Park Racetrack by becoming the first female trainer in history to win the iconic Grade 1, $1 million Haskell Stakes. Saddling 28-1 longshot Baby Vino in a rain-soaked 59th running of the oceanfront classic, Schultz captured her very first top-level Grade 1 victory as jockey Jorge A. Vargas Jr. guided the three-year-old colt past Preakness winner Napoleon Solo. The shocking triumph delivered a historic $58.00 payout—the race's highest in over four decades—and marked a milestone moment for the Monmouth Park-based operation, capping off a dramatic summer win for the Oceanport community.
