Happy Mother’s Day Weekend Monmouth County! There’s plenty going on this weekend to celebrate our moms the way they deserve. Flowers and chocolates are great, but maybe this year Monmouth Buzz can help you give mom a gift that won’t wilt or melt; the gift of time.

Pre-Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day Drag Brunch | 5/10 @ 12:00 pm | Asbury Lanes will feature Lady Celestina et al in a “drag-tastic brunch extravaganza.” We’d be prepared for a little more than some eggs benny.

Pot a Plant at Circus Foodtown | 5/10 from 11 am - 1 pm | Kids can pot a plant for FREE at Circus Shoprite in Atlantic Highlands, Red Bank, Port Monmouth, or Sea Girt on Saturday.

Mother’s Day Plant and Bake | 5/10 from 8 am - 2 pm | Manasquan Sea Lavender Garden Club will have a variety of patio planters, flowering plants, hanging baskets, and perennials as well as cookies, cakes, and pies available for purchase. You can pick mom up a perfect little gift while helping the club raise the money to fund their scholarships for graduating seniors.

Soul & Roses: A Pre-Mother’s Day Affair | 5/10 @ 7:00 pm | The Jersey Shore Arts Center presents an evening of live music by the acclaimed international recording artists Nu Men of Soul, along with a special performance by Rare Elegance. The perfect ambiance for your Mother's Day weekend.

Tidying by Tash is home organization at its absolute best. Warning: side effects may include uncontrollable smiling.

Mother’s Day Events

The Asbury Park Spring Bazaar | Sat 5/10 and Sun 5/11 from 12 pm - 5 pm | Convention Hall and the Asbury Hotel. Local vendors, live music, and tasty treats. Unique crafts, art, and vintage treasures.

Mother’s Day at the track? Yup. Monmouth Park is offering free admission for the ladies and a host of other FREE family activites. Hand mom a racing form and a C-note and give her the gift that keeps on giving - a gambling problem.
