🗳️ 17 Year Olds Can Now Vote in Primaries

A new state law is expanding voting in New Jersey by allowing 17‑year‑olds who will turn 18 by the Nov. 3 General Election to cast a ballot in the June 2 Primary Election for the first time. Previously, New Jersey allowed 17‑year‑olds to register to vote but not to actually vote until they reached 18; the change under the New Voter Empowerment Act now gives these soon‑to‑be adults a chance to participate directly in choosing their party’s nominees, empowering young residents to engage in the democratic process earlier and helping foster lifelong civic engagement. Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon encouraged eligible students to register and take part in shaping the future of their communities, noting that voting is a vital way for citizens to make their voices heard ahead of the general election.

The GoFundMe for 6 year old James Bitzer has raised over $20,000 in just the last couple weeks. We’re going to keep this up to encourage as many as we can and to show the Bitzer’s they’re not alone.

 🌮 Wonder Food Hall Coming to Ocean Twp

Wonder Food Hall is bringing it’s new dining concept to Ocean Township this spring, giving Monmouth County food lovers a fresh place to explore a variety of cuisines under one roof. The innovative food hall and delivery hub — located at 2105 NJ‑35 — will offer customers the chance to sample dishes from chefs and restaurants across the country through a mix‑and‑match menu, blending local convenience with national culinary flair. At Wonder, visitors can choose from a wide range of options, then enjoy their selections on‑site or order for pickup and delivery, making it a flexible spot for everything from casual lunches to dinner plans with friends. The Ocean Township location is part of Wonder’s ongoing expansion in New Jersey. If you haven’t checked out Wonder yet, we seriously recommend it. It seems counterintuitive that a restaurant could deliver so many options and do any of them well; but everything we’ve tried from Wonder has been excellent.
